“I love to come to work because of the people around me. They are my family, and they are the reason why it’s fun.”

The people. I strongly believe that the reason why I love coming to work is the people around me. They are my family, and they are the reason why it’s fun to come to work. Their unique backgrounds, experiences (both in life and business), and innovative, collaborative nature drive me every day to be a better person.

Our life experiences and culture contribute greatly to the way we think. With that in mind, Greg and I wanted to create a place where talented business professionals can have a voice in all the solutions that we provide to our clients, no matter their age, ethnicity, gender, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, education or religion. I firmly believe that this diversity is how we can provide our clients with the most thoughtful and unique solutions.

I come from a team sports background, and I truly believe that together we can do more. This motto also applies to the way I operate as a business professional. I want to partner with my clients to ensure that we are working together to formulate and implement the best possible solutions for their business needs, not only for the short term but also the long term.

In addition to this company, my passion is to help others. My family came to the United States from Vietnam when I was nine-years-old, and I don’t think our family would have made it without help from others along the way. As a result, I make it my personal mission to help others as often as I can to pay it forward. Whether it’s creating a new company to provide jobs for the community, doing community service, or raising money for charity, I feel lucky to have a chance to give back.

Outside of work, I like to play basketball or cheer for the Dodgers. I recently picked up gardening and have created a veggie garden of my own. I can’t say I’m any good at it, but I will learn and improve along the way!

Technology has always been my passion, but unlike a traditional technologist, I did not pursue a computer science degree in college. Instead, I realized earlier in my educational journey that technology is a tool that can solve business issues. To leverage technology to the fullest, one must understand the business side of things. As a result, I spent my time in college at the school of business and graduated from San Jose State University with a double degree in Business Management and Behavioral Psychology.

After graduation, I started my career in a dynamic project team with specialists in the finance, marketing, and technology fields and learned how integral each of these disciplines is to each other. Armed with this experience, I spent the next 12 years driving technology and marketing projects for both domestic and international firms from contract negotiation to go-live. Over time, I combined my business sense with technology experience to help Fortune 100 companies formulate their corporate technology roadmaps, participate in ERP implementations and create companywide change management processes.
