Digital Transformation: A Story

Bayen Group, as a long-standing supplier for Northrop Grumman, recently undertook a significant Digital Transformation project, migrating 26 custom applications from SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online in the Government Community Cloud (GCC).

This complex task involved more than just migration; it required a deep understanding of the client’s issues through a proven process, avoiding assumptions about the current system’s efficacy. Engaging with users and stakeholders, we uncovered numerous technological gaps and improvement opportunities. Business analysts gathered critical insights company-wide, guiding the development and enhancement of these applications for Supply Chain and Procurement teams.

Enhancements to these enterprise applications included form automation, workflow optimization, data consolidation, and the implementation of dashboards to address their Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Overall, the digital transformation process led the Supply Chain and Procurement teams at Northrop to have a truly modern workplace.
