The client identified a need for an Integrated Risk Management (IRM) system that enables simplification, automation and integration of strategic, operational and program risk management across their organization. The IRM Bayen Group developed not only provides insight to watch items, issues and risks, but also their relationships and overall impact across projects, programs, department and teams. An added feature is the ability to assign, track and measure associated action items to ensure all items have an owner as the item is monitored and/or mitigated. The system is built on the SharePoint and Microsoft 365 platform.

Business Need

The client requested a risk management solution that caters to various stakeholders, including executives, program managers, project managers, and team members. The solution must adhere to their established program processes and promote collaboration.

Solution

Bayen Group initiated the project by creating detailed wireframes and mockups to effectively illustrate the desired user experience that aligns with the client’s business processes. We established a close collaboration with the IT and Information Security Departments to ensure that the Risk Management Platform met all technical and security requirements. The platform we developed features an intuitive and user-friendly interface that is consistent with the client’s branding guidelines. Leveraging Office 365 for seamless collaboration and SharePoint as the core application framework, the system enhances the client’s ability to manage and mitigate risks effectively.

Additionally, the platform includes advanced functionalities for real-time monitoring and reporting, enabling stakeholders to make informed decisions promptly. The integration with existing tools and processes ensures minimal disruption while maximizing efficiency. Through comprehensive training and support, we ensured that all users could take full advantage of the system’s capabilities, leading to improved risk management across the organization.
