Bayen Group was hired to design and implement a Process Asset Library (PAL) for UNCOMN. Leveraging our experience with their intranet, we quickly designed and launched a SharePoint platform for users to document business processes across procurement, engineering, and project management.

As a company that is currently experiencing unprecedented growth, UNCOMN needed a means for identifying, tracking, documenting, and retrieving business-critical processes. In order to familiarize new employees with all Standard Operating Procedures, a centralized and user-friendly platform was necessary to consolidate all relevant information.

Within five months, Bayen Group used its Service Delivery Lifecycle Process to discover, design, develop, and deploy a Process Asset Library for UNCOMN. The platform enables users to draft, review, and publish business processes by company or department.

By utilizing the Power Platform, this solution offers an efficient approach for recording essential SOPs and making them accessible to relevant team members. Power BI dashboards empower managers to monitor the development of process documents, from initial creation through completion and publication. With Power Automate, managers receive timely notifications when their review is required, while document authors are informed of necessary revisions and the public release of documents. Readers are notified when new documentation becomes available and have the ability to customize their dashboards to display content pertinent to their responsibilities. Furthermore, users can report content that appears inaccurate or outdated.

The UNCOMN Process Asset Library standardizes procedures across the company and ensures everyone is updated on SOP changes. As the company grows, PAL helps address challenges by documenting essential processes for effective operations.
