Bayen Group was contracted to provide a custom SharePoint application tailored to the client’s specific, government-based needs. We designed, built, and continue to sustain the Buyer and Subcontract Administrator (SCA) Resource Management System to allow their Supply Chain division a comprehensive database to house all content relevant to their processes and operations. To this day, this platform serves as an intelligent repository of complex data and compliance standards ensuring adherence to stringent security and equity requirements.

In order to continue to meet evolving compliance standards, Northrop required Bayen Group to design an enhanced version of their Buyer/SCA Resource Management System which serves as a Knowledge Base for the Supply Chain division. This included assessing the current platform, determining necessary changes, developing new frameworks, and designing and deploying a new version of the system on SharePoint Online and the Government Community Cloud (GCC) High. 

Bayen Group designed the Buyer/SCA Resource Management System for Northrop Grumman’s Supply Chain division in order to store and make accessible all content relevant to their operations. This platform resides in the GCC High and serves as a Knowledge Base of all Standard Operating Procedures, forms, compliance requirements, and more. Utilizing Power Automate, it enables tagging which allows for in-depth search capabilities.  

The system provides access to all content needed to perform tasks in this division. Assets can be favorited to allow for easy access to frequently visited pages or content. Various list views are provided so users can organize content in ways most efficient to them.  

The importance of equity and security within Northrop Grumman’s Supply Chain division cannot be overstated, as they provide critical products and services to the United States Department of Defense. Each purchase must be individualized and secure so that outside parties cannot be privy to the wider scope of classified government projects. The Buyer/SCA Resource Management System ensures that the purchases and production within Northrop Grumman are secure and adhere to stringent government requirements while also maintaining fairness in the purchasing process – another critical requirement for government contractors. Bayen Group continues to support this platform, providing training, sustainment, and upgrades when needed.
